The “BFit” and “WithMe” teams are the winners of the national “Generation Unlimited imaGen Ventures” – Youth Challenge and will represent Montenegro at the world competition, in which 35 countries participate. The national competition was organized in cooperation between UNICEF and NVU Digitalizuj.Me, and is part of a global UN initiative launched in 2018.

The “Challenge” offers young people the opportunity to solve social problems and improve the life of the community in which they live, to learn to develop ideas, implement them and receive financial and mentoring assistance.

The “BFit” team wants to solve the problem of unhealthy diet and insufficient physical activity among young people, and the “WithMe” team is developing a platform that would help young people find the ideal roommate or travel companion.

Teams of three to five young people, aged 16 to 24, from all municipalities in Montenegro had the opportunity to apply for the “Challenge”.

Ten selected teams were invited to a three-day workshop, which was held in April in Petrovac, organized by the UNICEF representative office in Montenegro and NVU Digitalizuj.Me. Then, with two thousand euros each, five teams were awarded and they, with the help of mentors, continued to develop and implement their ideas. In addition to the two winning teams, the awarded teams are: “E’o”, “Maslinari” and “Interakt”.
