The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has announced the eleventh call for proposals for project funding through the International Fund for Cultural Diversity (hereinafter referred to as “IFCD”). Among the potential beneficiaries of the Fund is Montenegro, as a member of the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions.

IFCD supports projects leading to structural change through the introduction and / or development of policies and strategies that have a direct impact on the creation, production, distribution and access to diversity of cultural expressions, as well as strengthening institutional infrastructure, including professional and organizational capacity, while supporting sustainable local and regional cultural industries. IFCD-supported projects have a wide range of activities – from capacity building and cultural mapping to policy and development analysis, as well as supporting entrepreneurship and the consolidation of cultural industries.

The competition can be applied by public administration bodies, institutions and non-governmental organizations.

Applications are completed solely on the Online Application Platform, in English or French.

The deadline for submitting applications / projects is May 27, 2020, midnight (Central European Time), and applications are submitted exclusively via the link. This will be followed by a national project selection process carried out by the National Commission for UNESCO. The deadline for the selection of projects by the National Commission and submission of proposals to UNESCO is 10th of July 2020.

The maximum amount that can be claimed from the proposed project is 100,000.00$.
