Very few people will suspect that culture and creativity are an integral part of the European identity. What this study shows is how important culture and creativity really are to the European economy. Not only are politicians and people unaware that these industries employ 7 million people, which is 2.5 times more than the automotive industry, but they are one of the leading industries when it comes to hiring young people.
