Technology only makes sense if it manages to connect people – this paraphrase of one thought by Matt Malenwey, a social media entrepreneur, is best characterized by the business environment prevailing in Podgorica’s Coins Ltd.
Anton Jurovicki and Dejan Petkovic founded the firm in 2014, convinced that they have something truly different and innovative to offer to the market. The main activity of the Company was to create a platform for monetization and distribution of software with a focus on foreign markets, and the primary goal – to offer websites that provide interesting content a software solution that will give them adequate and well-deserved monetization.
The digital revolution has slowly but surely took us under her own, by changing behaviour and business patterns once and for all. Most of the today most wanted professions did not even exist fifteen years ago. Conventional companies have transformed into modern companies, high technology and media literacy have become an indispensable part of the basic qualifications of all new young employees – the post-industrial era knocked on our door. It has never been easier to become an entrepreneur and never harder to survive on that path.
Anton and Dejan stepped boldly.
The digital world does not know for national borders. Clients of Coinis Ltd. are scattered around the world. Still, the staff is ours: faith in people is more important than faith in technology. The Company employs talented and extremely motivated young people who are constantly advancing themselves in the field of technology and communications. To keep the ‘operating temperature’ at a high level, Anton and Dejan know that all employees in their workplace must feel like at home.
In modern business and especially in the field of information and communication technologies, there has long been a mantra that only those firms which, as they say, manage to make Monday a Friday, will survive on the market. Namely, all the people who work hard at old-fashioned companies usually can’t wait for Friday to come so they can take a break from work on the weekends, while employees at today’s most successful companies simply can’t wait for the weekend to pass to get back to work. The company they work in is their second home. In the business world, much faster than we expect, will not be possible to imagine any other recipe for success than this.
Anton and Dejan know that.
Keeping in mind that they operate in an area where change is constant, they are constantly striving to provide for their workers opportunities to follow global trends and to continuously improve their business and working skills. Their company offers a number of training programs, and last year they organized a free programming academy called DevelopersLab, with over 60 participants signing up. The best of them, 8 of them, were offered to immediately become part of the Coinis Ltd. team.
While starting their own business, the owners had no idea what their opportunities and potentials would be, so they focused on only one business sphere. Today, their outlook is much broader. They are currently working on the Abago project, which as a part of the travel online industry is a novelty in their business because the primary goal of the company is to enable the purchase of cheap airline tickets to all website visitors along with many other benefits and since Coinis’s activities to date have been related almost exclusively to the so-called ad tech activities, it is not surprising that this new project they describe as the biggest challenge so far, considering the competition that dominates on the global market in this area, they hope that with their 50 employees and innovative technologies they will be able to compete with the world’s giants.
Anton and Dejan are used to frequent market fluctuations and they respond to them with quick and precise reactions. They adapt to new situations and transform themselves. They are ready to change everything but one thing in their business – the people who work for them will always come first. There is no compromise in this aspect.
