Impact of culture indicators on development reflect the role that culture plays as a facilitator and driver of sustainable development. Thanks to its innovative methodology, by this means of public advocacy and policy through facts and data, multidimensional relationship between culture and development is analysed. Through the analysis of seven key dimensions of culture and development and by assessing of 22 key indicators, responds to the needs and circumstances of low-and middle-income countries. The abundance of quantitative data obtained through the implementation of the CDIS project contributes to the development of cultural policies based on more complete information and involvement of culture in development strategies, as well as the implementation of the 2005 UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions.
